Lente in Utrecht
Hou je van haiku (of wil je deze Japanse dichtvorm leren kennen) en vind je het leuk om samen te schrijven en je werk te delen? Dan ben je van harte welkom bij de haikukern in Utrecht, elke derde donderdag van de maand om 19:30 uur in de Bibliotheek Neude.
Zoek een mooie haiku op (een haiku die jou aanspreekt of een haiku die je zelf geschreven hebt) en schuif gezellig aan. Blanco komen mag ook, we kunnen ook ter plekke aan de slag met het schrijven van een haiku.

In het najaar kwam ik in contact met de Haiku Kring Nederland en ontdekte ik dat er meer haikuliefhebbers zijn. En zelfs haikukringen: groepen dichters die samen haiku’s maken, met elkaar delen en van elkaar leren. Als beginnend haikudichter leek het mij heel fijn om bij zo’n kring aan te sluiten. Een haikukring in Utrecht was er echter nog niet.
Vandaar dit initiatief, in samenwerking met JACCU en Haiku Kring Nederland. Vind je het leuk om mee te pionieren? Dan zie ik je graag bij de haikukern in de Neudebieb!”

Utrecht Haiku Group
Over the years, Haiku Kring Nederland has established a network of 11 local Haiku groups throughout the Netherlands. In the Haiku groups, hobby poets can meet and discuss their work, read to each other, and receive feedback from the community. These groups are intended as places for people to develop their skills through productive feedback and support from other members. A goal of Haiku Kring Nederland is to establish a group in Utrecht, which will hopefully be met through this joint effort with JACCU team! If you are curious about Japanese poetry, make sure to check out our event with Haiku Kring Nederland! There, you can learn more about Haiku and meet other local enthusiasts of Japanese poetry. On the 23rd of February, 2022, JACCU and Haiku Kring Nederland organised a workshop within the Manga and Japanese Culture Week event of Bibliotheek Neude. From that day on, the Utrecht group had the Bibliotheek Neude as the meeting location! The meetings are open to everybody who speaks Dutch. Come and try your poetry!
