Start Kanji Cursus op 5 Oktober

In het najaar zal een online cursus van 8 lessen van start gaan ter introductie van het kanji schrift, wat de basis vormt voor het japanse schrift.

In deze cursus zullen we de eerste 80 kanji behandelen die men in Japan op de basisschool leert en zullen we het hebben over:

• de terminologie achter het kanji systeem
• schoonschrift
• de correcte schrijfwijze
• een stukje geschiedenis
• kalligrafische beginselen
• manieren om de karakters te onthouden

De les is aangekleed met opdrachtjes en uitleg over de kanji en per les is er ook een huiswerk opdrachtje om met de karakters bezig te blijven. Ook raad ik altijd aan om te blijven schrijven, schrijven en nog eens schrijven.

Praktische informatie

Vereisten: beheersen van hiragana & katakana + begrip van Japanse basis grammatica. Bij twijfel kunt u via JACCU de docent benaderen. 

Start: 5 Oktober, Dinsdagavond, 19.00 – 20.00

Duur: 8 lessen van 1 uur

Start on the 5th of October

In the remaining summer days, an introductory course on Japanese kanji characters will take place in JACCU Language Course curriculum. We will start on the 5th of October and it will last for 8 weeks, 1 hour per week on Tuesday evenings.

This course will introduce the first 80 kanji that Japanese primary school students study. Our teacher Jim Gubbels has prepared this course by categorising the characters under certain concepts based on their meaning. You will also learn about:

• terminology relating to the kanji system
• the correct way of writing
• history of characters
• calligraphy
• mnemonics to help remember the characters

The lessons also include some small assignments to get better acquainted with the characters, and a little bit of homework to help you maintain your connection with the kanji. It is recommended to write as much as possible.

Practical Information

Requirements: Mastery of hiragana & katakana and understanding of basic Japanese grammar

Time: Every Tuesday evening, 19:00 – 20:00 (CET)
